"A Universal Intelligence is in all matter and continually gives to it all its properties and actions, thus maintaining it in existence. This idea serves the purpose of trusting the process and allowing magic to happen when nature is unimpeded."
Our bodies are amazing, magical things. We all have the capacity to make great things happen within the confines of our own skin. Being able to tap into this infinite resource escapes most people though. It is a skill that has been vastly forgotten. Body wisdom comes from the upload experience of that which we call life. In that upload, we tend to find that the shape, tone and tension of our body reflects the shape, tone and tension of our life. Sit with that for a moment. That idea is quite profound.
The shape, tone and tension of your body reflects the shape, tone and tension of your life.
Our culture is all about HAVE --> DO --> BE. This kind of Educated Intelligence is vital to our existence because it is how most operate. It comes of the idea from the Tree of Knowledge. It is what keeps us going, especially when life can be overwhelming. Educated Intelligence has its place when it comes to supremacy of analysis, control of life experiences, eliminating problems, suppressing emotions, resisting intimacy, ignoring the pain and working now so that we can play later. This intelligence relies heavily on outside influence from past lessons and learning.
What if you rethought those three simple words of being into BE --> DO --> HAVE? How is that different? Quite different actually. This is what we call Innate Intelligence and sources from the Tree of Life. Innate Intelligence is another type of necessary intelligence that we as humans possess. Innate Intelligence allows for us to tap into the supremacy of body wisdom, adapt into life experiences, embracing "problems", expressing emotions, allowing yourself to initiate intimacy, being able to stop before it hurts and, my favorite, play while you work. This is knowing that comes from within.
Innate Intelligence is something that I feel we all strive for, though it conflicts with our Educated Intelligence. This conflict leads to cognitive dissonance. The term cognitive dissonance is used to describe the feeling of discomfort that results from holding two conflicting beliefs. So when we find ourselves with a discrepancy between beliefs and behaviors, our nature is to recognize that something must change in order to eliminate or reduce the dissonance. We all know that we need to work and play later, but can feel a deep inner knowing that playing while you work is just so much better. Our society has a multitude of solutions for every problem imaginable, but what if you could really just embrace what the problem was? There is something inside of you that knows embracing will actually be better. You know this. You always have.
So how can we bridge the gap of conflicting intelligences and cognitive dissonance? How would your life be better because of it? What is it that you would have to do? These kinds of questions are what the last 6 years of my life has been all about. I expect to help people do what they know. What they need to do for themselves in embracing vitality. When we embrace the body and soul, we are greater that the sum of all of our parts. The current Human Being has an ordinary life, is information overwhelmed and wisdom deprived. I am here for you. As I continue through 2019, I will be of service to those that are looking for guidance. You are at the right place if you are looking for the advancement of who you are.
